Feng Chen Wang is certainly no stranger when it pertains to Converse collabs, but the Feng Chen Wang x Converse Jack Purcell has got to be the Chinese designer’s a lot of ambitious one yet. revealed as part of her Fall/Winter 2020 Collection, the special design of each pairs pays homage to standard basket weaving techniques.
Available in two clean cut colour schemes including an all-white pair and an all-black pair, both Jack Purcells are crafted from a series of leather and suede panels that overlap on top of one another for added depth. From a distance, these may look like random patterns and cut outs, but upon closer inspection you’ll find that they actually spell out the style icon’s name in Chinese.
